Matteo Bianchi

Matteo is the inspiring force behind Daruma Design Studio. Always with a smile on his face, Matteo has an eye for quirky details and a passion for bold and balanced design solutions. Originally from Venice, Matteo trained at the University of the Chelsea College of Arts where he now also teaches, together with the Design Maestros school which he recently founded. Matteo had a dream to become an interior designer 20 years ago: he is now living the dream and successfully leading an award winning Art Direction agency specialized in distinctive interior design, product design, and branding.

She has collaborated with Italian and foreign illustrated magazines and she has held personal exhibitions in Venice, Cervia, Treviso and Milan. In 2021 she published "Il gigante Osvaldo" with the Bohem Press Italia publishing house, and "The little match girl" with the Danish HCA Publisher. She currently studies and lives in Urbino.

Martina Missana

Designer and illustrator, whose works are characterized by an approach that combines analogue with digital. The freehand drawing, often made with a simple black Bic pen and a white sheet, is then combined with the digital, with which it finds its maximum expression.

Staffan and Filippo lead the product design division of Tollgard Design Group, a London-based multidisciplinary studio working globally on interior and product design projects. Born and raised in Stockholm, with an early career in film, Staffan's passion for storytelling has manifested itself through her interior design projects and product design initiatives. Filippo Castellani was born in Pisa, studied in Florence and trained in Milan.

Sophie Barnard

Sophie's design career includes costumes, accessories, fashion and textiles. She worked with English National Opera and couturier Catherine Walker before starting an accessories brand supplied by Liberty, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, and Browns. In 2015 she founded Longstaff Longstaff, a luxury silk clothing brand. Customers fell in love with her prints and so, by popular demand, she produced her first collection of daywear.

A graduate of SID, he has worked with Zignago Vetro, Stefanplast, Sorelle Ramonda and Mondo Giocattoli. After his studies, he specialized in Interior Design, developing furniture and solutions for the foreign market. At the same time he collaborates with Criocabin S.p.a., True Design and TMA. In 2020, he won the world Silver A' Design Award in the A' Design Award competition. He is currently a design supervisor for the Ferretti Group.

A true Milanese, Nicola attended the Faculty of Architecture at the acclaimed Milan Polytechnic. He founded his studio in 1999 and, with his expanding team, works on multidisciplinary design paths. He has received numerous international awards, including the acclaimed "Good Design Award" and Wallpaper * Magazines "DominoNex" for his furniture.

Max Rommel

Lives between Milan and Catania. Self-taught, he abandoned his studies in philosophy to devote himself to photography. He participates in solo and group exhibitions, is involved in visual communication and, in a broader sense, in any form of contamination between graphics, illustration, photography and video. He shares his research with companies and publishing titles. Luxottica for the realization of the 50th anniversary strenna book called him for a world tour in 15 days. He was also the official Europe/Asia/Middle East photographer for Tom Ford's Retail division. He forges collaborations with leading design and architecture publications.
